Without sweets/dessert an Indian meal is considered to be incomplete. When traditional sweets are a must, a little bit of fusion makes them all the more attractive. These super easy Gulkand ladoos are a favorite in my home…Within just a few minutes, all you have is a really different and simpler version of Gulkand ladoo.
3 to 4 tbsp Gulkand (According to taste)
1-1/2 cup sooji or semolina
100 gms fresh khoya
2 tbsp chopped cashews
1 tbsp chopped almonds
- Take the fresh khoya in a wide plate. Add gulkand and sooji to it. Mix well. When it begins to bind a bit, add the almonds and cashews as well. Mix well again.
- Using your hands make small golf-sized balls. Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
- Note: since I took fresh khoya, there was no need to heat it. In case, you are using khoya but has been kept for sometime, then heat it first for 1-2 minutes. Then take it off heat, add the rest of the ingredients and make your ladoos.
